摘要註
This volume arose from a study on the linguistic behaviours of multilingual sign language users, including both unimodal bilinguals using different sign languages and bimodal bilinguals co-using sign and speech. Themes covered in the volume include code-switching between sign languages, interactional phenomena such as conversational repair, lexical development in contact sign varieties, and methodological innovations. The second part of the book describes several multilingual communities of practice covered in the research. The languages and settings in the book include the UK, Burundi, India, Japan, Jordan, Indonesia, South Korea, Nepal, Brazil, the Netherlands, and the USA.
